Quite a big month this month, we have finally started to melt something in Jindera. Sadly I cannot show a photo of the part as it’s sub contract but it’s the start of the boutique foundry we said we would have 2 years ago. I’m having some issues with the gas, setting up a gas system in Australia is alot more expensive and long winded than I had anticipated, in Malaysia it’s alot easier. This may mean that I switch over to diesel which requires no certification and we are also more familiar with it. However one bridge at a time.
In other news I can also show off another new part, the single point post base. The thinking is to have them in areas where people are either looking for a very slim look so the 50mm post goes straight into the ground. Alternatively if you are placing posts on corners where you want to get right to the edge you can do so with 1 bolt through the centre. I will have them available 3rd week of June in mill.
